Benzamin Mendy is accused of eight rapes and one sexual assault between 2018 and 2021. After several weeks where the victims were testifying, the judge abandoned one of the accusations due to lack of sufficient evidence.

This Tuesday, Judge Stephen Everett declared that one of the eight allegations of assault against the player has been deserted because of absence of adequate proof given by the prosecution.
