A concert tour has been announced by Madonna to celebrate her 40 years of success.

This summer, music icon Madonna will launch a new tour to mark her more than 40 years of achievement.

"Madonna: The Celebration Tour," according to its promoters, will take fans on her "artistic journey through four decades and pay tribute to New York City, where her musical career began."

The tour will visit 35 locations, beginning on July 15 in Vancouver. After a string of North American dates, it will travel to Europe, where it will conclude on December 1 in Amsterdam.

The singer stated in a statement, "I'm extremely pleased to explore as many songs as possible in hopes of delivering my fans the show they've been waiting for.

The most successful musician of all time, Madonna, posted a video of herself playing truth or challenge at a table with other famous people, including DJ Diplo, filmmaker Judd Apatow, and actress and comedian Amy Schumer, on her Instagram page.

The singer of "Material Girl" and "Like a Prayer" accepts Schumer's challenge to go on tour and perform her well-known songs. The tour's tickets go on sale this Friday and include a special appearance by Bob the Drag Queen.
