Academy Award winning actor, comedian and singer Jamie Foxx revealed on Instagram that he is recovering from an undisclosed medical condition. Foxx, who appeared lean and was wearing a dark pullover shirt, stated in the three minutes and 15 second video, "I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery has some potholes as well, but I'm coming back. "I am able to work."
Foxx, 55, was admitted to the hospital in April for what his daughter Corinne Fox termed as a "medical complication," but Foxx did not specify his health in his initial public remarks after being admitted. "I just didn't want you to see me like that. Foxx thanked his daughter, sister, God, and hospital staff for saving his life. "I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through," he added.
"I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through," Foxx remarked. “Every once in a while I just burst into tears … because it’s been tough, man, I was sick … but now I’ve got my legs under me so you’re going to see me,” Foxx said.
