Chelsea broke their goal drought with a 2-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League. Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja were the heroes for the Blues, as they both found the back of the net. Mudryk scored his first goal for Chelsea, while Broja celebrated his full return from injury with a goal of his own.

Before the match, Chelsea had failed to score in their previous three league games and had only managed five goals in six top-flight matches this season. However, they quickly turned things around in the West London derby.

In the 18th minute, Mudryk received a cross from Levi Colwill and calmly slotted the ball past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Just a minute later, poor defending from Fulham allowed Broja to double Chelsea's lead.

For Mudryk, it was a long time coming. He had signed for Chelsea nine months ago and finally got his first goal for the club. Broja, on the other hand, was making his first start since recovering from a knee injury he sustained last year.

After the match, Broja expressed his joy at scoring, stating that it was an unbelievable feeling. He also emphasized the importance of time and progression for the team.

In the second half, Ian Maatsen came off the bench and nearly made it three for Chelsea, hitting the post in the 62nd minute. The result secured Chelsea's second league win of the season and pushed them up to 11th place in the table.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino was pleased with the team's performance and urged them to continue working hard and finding better solutions. He also downplayed concerns about potential injuries to Broja, Moises Caicedo, and Enzo Fernandez.

Fulham coach Marco Silva lamented his side's defensive mistakes, describing the goals conceded as soft. He emphasized the need for his team to be more effective and make better decisions in front of goal.

Despite the loss, Fulham remains in 13th place, just below Chelsea on goal difference. Silva remained focused on his current squad and dismissed any notion that they were missing former forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who left the club in August.

Both teams will now look to build on this result and continue their progress in the Premier League.
