Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine once again in Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine once again in "Deadpool 3" alongside Ryan Reynolds.

Yes, in 2024's "Deadpool 3," Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine. But don't worry—his death from "Logan" won't be reversed in the sequel.

Unexpectedly, Ryan Reynolds hinted last night that a new Deadpool film, scheduled for release in 2024, will include Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as well as his beloved version of the "mercenary with a mouth."

Reynolds formally announces in the teaser that Deadpool 3 will be released in 2024, which happens to be the year Marvel celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Incredible Hulk #181, the comic book that serves as the film's basis.

"Hey Hugh, do you want to play Wolverine one more time?" he asked, as Jackman casually walked down the hall in the background. "Yeah, sure, Ryan," Jackman answered without stopping. And so, an internet storm began.

The majority of fans were and still are thrilled to see Jackman take on the role again, but many questioned how that was going to happen given that Jackman's Wolverine, well, killed in his last on-screen appearance.

Another video with more information The actors provided some reassurance and a lot more straightforward explanation in a brand-new video posted on Wednesday morning. "I had a lot of questions, and I know you had, too. But don't worry; we'll respond straight away," Jackman stated. How, for instance, is Wolverine still alive after "Logan"? Reynolds jumped in at that point and declared, "'Logan' takes place in 2029. a very other thing. Logan died  in "Logan," not touching that."

The two started out by explaining "what truly happens in our movie." Of Course, we are unaware of what that is because "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go '' by Wham! Began to play, started drowning out the words of Reynolds and Jackman.

Reynolds can be heard stating that Deadpool is "chasing" Wolverine if you pay careful attention, but other than that, nothing else can be made out.

The Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine appear to be fighting in some of the animated battle scenes, though! When the music finally stops, Reynolds can be heard cheering what Jackman and he apparently said.

After thanking Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios and the MCU, and showcasing a number of photos of the two of them over the years, the video concludes with a picture of them with director Shaun Levy.

Given that Deadpool 3 will be R-rated, it's not a big surprise that there would be a violent fight between the two characters, but it's wonderful to know that some of their iconic moments from the comics could be replicated.
