Gabriella Karefa Johnson, editor of Vogue, speaks out after Kanye attack.

Kanye West reacted harshly online to the fashion magazine editor's criticism of his contentious Yeezy fashion show.

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, 45, is receiving backlash after appearing on his show on Monday with conservative commentator Candice Owens while wearing sweatshirts bearing the slogan "White Lives Matter." The emblem was also worn by the models.

Numerous social activists are furious about West's evaluation of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) charter. BLM supporters have been speaking out against institutional racism and police brutality for years, but some white supremacists have misappropriated the group's catchphrase to advance their own racist ideologies.

Contributing editor of a global fashion magazine Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who attended the event, expressed her opinions on the runway game in an Instagram Story post. She explained her response to Kanye's runway choices, Gabriella had a text conversation with a friend.

She initially commented that she was "fuming" and that the show was "indefensible" before expressing her opinion that Kanye's vision was flawed.

She stated in the screenshots: "He was trying to illustrate a dystopian world where whiteness might become extinct or at least would be in enough danger to demand defense. But the danger is that, this very premise, the idea that white supremacy is in danger of extinction is what justifies mass incarceration, murder on a large scale, and even the introduction of slavery.

"I guess I understand his intent—he was attempting to be a duchampion. not the case. Although it failed to land, it was extremely violent, dangerous, and offensive "She wrote.

She later characterized the T-shirts as "It's just pure violence, and there's no justification or artistic merit in this. I believe that if you asked Kanye, he would reply that the T-shirt contained elements of art, revolution, and other concepts."

In response, Kanye shared images of the editor and a snapshot of Gabriella's Instagram account, seemingly criticizing the editor's appearance. Additionally, he posted screenshots of chats allegedly from his design director Mowalola Ogunlesi, who gave him the following advice: "You shouldn't, in my opinion, disparage that author. About the tee, you could genuinely engage in a meaningful discourse."

To that specific tweet, Gigi Hadid added her own comment and addressed it to Kanye "You wish you had some of her intelligence. You've got no idea, haha She might be the only person who can save you if there is any real purpose to any of your nonsense. As if someone shouldn't express their viewpoint because they were "honored" to be invited to your show? Lol. You are a joke and a bully."

Later, she continued on her Instagram Story, writing: "I was trying very hard not to give that man air time, but openly bullying someone who critiques your work on your enormous platform is another level of craziness to me. Never dish out what you can't handle. If you can't handle criticism, especially the thoughtful, considerate, and constructive critique that GKJ offered [after] yesterday's program, then don't release your work for general consumption.

"This is an immature bully acting out. By continuing to work on this project for the sake of vitality, website traffic, simple curiosity, or whatever else, we have all encouraged this behavior. Enough. It is not shrewd. It is not captivating. It lacks nuance. It is hazardous."

Gigi concluded by saying she could "educate that despicable man in more ways than he knows" and referred to Gabriella Karefa-Johnson as "one of the most essential voices in our profession."

'VOGUE' PUBLISHES STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF EDITOR GABRIELLA KAREFA-JOHNSON

"Vogue stands with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, our global fashion editor at large and a steadfast contributor," the statement stated. She was bullied and personally targeted. It must be stopped. More than ever, we need voices like hers, and today, in a private meeting with Ye, she once again shared her truth on her terms and in the manner she felt was most comfortable with.

It is hoped that the accord reached by Ye and Karefa-Johnson will result in an end to bullying. But we'll stay tuned.

On Wednesday, Karefa-Johnson ended her quiet on the subject by posting her Instagram story she literally said 'Hiiii-yah'* round kick to the face, very human combat."

"This is what your girl has gone through! I've been inundated with love over the past 24 hours, both here and elsewhere, and I'm fatigued but also deeply touched and appreciative of it. I consider myself extremely privileged to be a part of such a community. I always endeavor to respect the reality of my opinions and will always voice them out loud. My opinions are mine alone, and I stand by them. Thank you all for supporting me on it."

Following criticism, West took down his posts criticizing Karefa-Johnson and replaced them with supportive ones.

After criticizing Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for her comments on his "White Lives Matter" T-shirts, Kanye West attacked her and referred to her as his "sister."

Ye shared a photo of Karefa-Johnson on Instagram Tuesday night along with the caption "GABBY IS MY SISTER."

"I MET WITH GABRIELLE AT 5 PM TODAY FOR 2 HOURS, THEN WE WENT TO DINNER AT FERDIE," the speaker declares, "AND I'M NOT LETTING PEOPLE GO TO BED THINKING I DIDN'T DO THAT."

He added, "WE APOLOGIZE TO EACH OTHER FOR THE WAY WE MADE EACH OTHER FEEL WE ACTUALLY GOT ALONG AND HAVE BOTH EXPERIENCED THE FIGHT FOR ACCEPTANCE IN A WORLD THAT'S NOT OUR OWN.

SHE DISAGREED I DISAGREED WE DISAGREE, the rapper rapped as he ended the letter. We at least share a love of fashion and Fergie.
