Ivanka Trump has affirmed that she will not be a part of Donald Trump's presidential campaign in 2024.

She stated that she will prioritise her family after serving as an advisor during her father's administration (2017–2021).

From his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, former US President Donald Trump announced his bid for the presidency in the 2024 Republican Party elections. The celebration was attended by members of his family, including his wife Melania Trump and their son Eric. Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband, and their daughter were present, although Ivanka was not.

Ivanka Trump stated in a statement: "I adore my father. This time around, I've made the decision to put my young children and the private life we're building together as a family first. I don't intend to participate in politics. I will always be proud of what our administration has accomplished and am grateful for the opportunity to have served the American people."

Even though they were subject to allegations of nepotism, Ivanka and her husband Kushner both had significant roles in the Trump administration.

Ivanka Trump and her family made the decision to relocate to a Florida estate after Trump lost the 2020 elections. Recently, he was required to give testimony before a committee looking into the attack on the US capital in 2021, when supporters of the former Republican president attempted to overturn his election loss.

The committee has spoken with more than 800 witnesses, including Ivanka Trump, who was present at the White House that day with her father. Their testimony was deemed useful by committee chair Congressman Bennie Thompson.
