Hybe and Geffen Records look for the next global girl group.

The debut of a new international girl group is one of several plans that HYBE has for 2022 and 2023. They have begun the application process for Geffen Records, a division of Universal Music Group, for this.

In order to create a new girl group, HYBE and Geffen Records collaborate to find the top international female artists.

Because of its projects, artists, and news, HYBE is always in the public eye. But today, they are more determined than ever following the release of their 2021 HYBE.

Briefing In which we learnt about their intentions to make their debuts, including the debut of a worldwide female group, the introduction of a series of webtoons for their groups BTS ENHYPEN and TXT, as well as the debut of a new boy group in Japan under the name HYBE Japan.

Global Universal Music Group and Geffen Records have teamed up with HYBE on this fantastic initiative. The notion of looking for that worldwide group will be able to materialise in this way thanks to the benchmark that is under both.

They state in the first video that American record label Geffen and Geffen would search the world for the next female band phenomenon. Global auditions will make up the process, which have already started and will go through November 28. Also, as stated:

The first round of auditions is taking place online, and they are searching for females between the ages of 15 and 19 who have talent in the areas of singing, dancing, rapping, and production. They are only allowed to select one of these talents. They must register for the auditions, complete the form, and upload the required files via the website's official page.

These are not the only tryouts HYBE is holding in order to find a new girl group; -LAND 2 is also in progress. which, after clearing the auditions, will allow them to take part in the Mnet and HYBE survival programme.
